About Nonprofit Central

Nonprofit Central is a new resource collaborative, incubator, capacity building and technical assistance center for the nonprofit community in New Orleans and the Northshore. Services at Nonprofit Central include:

Back office support in the areas of
- fundraising and grantwriting
- marketing and public relations
- internet technology support
- Office space for displaced nonprofit organizations on a shared-time basis
Use of a board room and training room on a small fee basis
Access to computers, the internet, a copier and fax machine, and other office technology
A focal point for capacity building partners to assist local organizations
Regular skill-building events
Access to a Foundation Center resource library and other resource materials
An event calendar and information kiosk

Unified Nonprofits

A coalition of nonprofit leaders in the Greater New Orleans area, unified with one voice to support, lead and fully participate in the recovery and rebuilding efforts following Hurricane Katrina. Please join in as Unified Nonprofits share information, network with each other and collaborate to move forward together as a nonprofit sector. Unified Nonprofits meets weekly on Monday mornings, from 9:30 to 11:00 am at Nonprofit Central (1824 O.C. Haley Blvd, New Orleans).
